THREE MASSIVE SOCIAL MEDIA MISTAKES I MADE
[So you don’t have to]
After yesterday’s revelation about external links, here’s the number two massivest social media mistake I made:
I was selling a product, not a lifestyle.
Yep, back in 2017, I created a marketing programme and was so excited I thought it would just fly off the shelves.
It didn’t, of course.
Why?
Nobody had understood how their life would be changed by being part of it.
Entirely because I’d been rubbish at explaining it.
So I started talking to people who looked like my ideal clients.
I asked them what they wanted more of, and less of.
Then I wrote exclusively about how I could help with that, and change their lives.
People saw that I GOT them, and they GOT me. We GOT sales, and they GOT lasting transformation.
Win-win, after I stopped trying to sell the product.
Geddit?
Love you lots
Jonny
