Whenever you’re seeking a coach or mentor to guide you through a new learning or skill, ask yourself one question:
Are they already living the life I’m wanting to live?
Put another way, if you did what they’re suggesting and became as successful as them, would that be a step forward?
Of course, the size of that likely step is an indicator of the value exchange, and therefore the amount you’re prepared to pay them.
There are no mistakes you can make which haven’t already been made.
There are no truly new ideas either.
There are only ideas that somebody else has had, and they haven’t revealed them to you yet.
So, learn from their past.
The most powerful history lesson for you is the one taught by people who’ve already been where you are right now.
And they’re already living the life you want to live.
