Five reasons your FB isn’t working

On yesterday’s Thank Flip It’s Friday™ training, we showed you seven thriving Groups run by coaches and therapists in the JHM community, with a combined total of over 40,000 active members.

We also made a shortlist of reasons your Group isn’t working as well as you’d like, and here they are:

1: Purposelessness – you don’t have a clear vision of who your Group’s for, or how it helps them
2: Lack of content curation – you allow any old posts from anyone in your Group feed, which confuses your members and dilutes your message
3: Inviting the wrong people – similar to above, you need to curate members so people see others like them in the community
4: Lack of curiosity – you don’t follow up on post comments with further questions to establish how you can help
5: Giving up too soon – this is the biggest one. It takes consistent and sustained action over the long-haul to create a “Social Cocoon” where your members feel safe, valued and listened-to.

So there you have it.

Look at your Group with fresh eyes and score yourself for each of those 5 criteria to see where you need to up your game.

Love you lots

PS: I’ve opened my calendar for a handful of 20-minute social media audits next week, where I guarantee to find 3 things you can implement and improve immediately with your social presence.

If you act quickly and click this booking link, you should be able to grab one.
