In our weekly session with the Consultants In Business members yesterday, we talked about what they’d be doing if money was no object.
Many commented they’d like to travel more, and visit new places.
I said, why not do that now, and get other people to pay for it?
For example:
- Sell five places on an intimate five-day retreat to somewhere you’d love to go. Take payments, then book the venue and make it happen.
- Announce you’re doing five 1-2-1 coaching days in a luxury villa in Majorca. Clients fly in to be with you a day at a time
- Collaborate with two or three colleagues on a well-being summit somewhere exotic. Have all of you selling tickets to make enough to pay for your flights, accommodation and profit
- Offer to go spend time with some of your favourite clients who live close to each other somewhere in the world. Have them pay for your flights and a place to stay
- Offer to be a guest speaker at someone else’s overseas conference in return for covering your expenses
There are loads more, but you get the idea.
You don’t always need money to travel.
