A couple of years ago, I polled the FB Group and asked:
“What was the best thing about being a child?”
Your answers made interesting reading…
- No fear!
- Freedom to play
- Bare feet
- No care in the world
- Daydreaming
- Slim waist
- Utter joy
- No pressure
- Running around naked (!)
- My imagination
…and hundreds more.
Reading the comments, something struck me like lightning on the Serengeti.
If that stuff is all part of a joyous childhood, why can’t it be part of a joyous adulthood?
Maybe that’s the reason so many of us live tortured, miserable, unfulfilled lives.
We forgot how to play like kids.
