I get regular pearls of wisdom from james Clear. Just yesterday, he sent me this lovely line from entrepreneur and author Derek Sivers:
“Mastery is the best goal because the rich can’t buy it, the impatient can’t rush it, the privileged can’t inherit it, and nobody can steal it. You can only earn it through hard work. Mastery is the ultimate status.”
And in your 21st century online coaching or consultancy business, this means getting really, really good at what you do.
But know this: It’s no good mastering your craft without mastering marketing too.
Come to think of it, maybe mastering marketing is the ultimate form of mastery.
