Why Self-Belief Is Overrated

I read a ton of stuff every day. Upwards of an hour of blogs, emails and articles from people smarter than me.

Today’s highlight – a quote from Ryan Holiday:

“Self-belief is overrated, generate evidence.”

And in your 21st century online coaching or consultancy business, that means only one thing:

Action overcomes fear, every time.

Some other things it might mean:

😎 You can’t believe in NOTHING. Do something first, then believe it
😎 When you feel you don’t know what you’re doing, do it anyway
😎 If this shit was easy, they’d all be at it. It’s meant to be hard
😎 The winners are the ones who don’t care how they feel. They JFDI
😎 You can dislike what you’re doing, and it can still be a success
😎 You’ve tackled all life’s challenges so far. The future may be easier
😎 You can do something without knowing exactly where it’ll lead
😎 Have an idea, then try it to see what happens. It might surprise you
😎 Doing something once (post/gym/livestream) might become a habit

BOTTOM LINE:

You don’t need self-belief to take action.

You need to take action to create self-belief.
