Business cards 2.0

Business cards are a kind of old-school way to communicate. Hell, some entrepreneurs I know don’t even leave their office these days, let alone meet people for real.

But there is a way to turn chance encounters into chances to impress, using a SMART approach to business cards:

SEVERAL different cards – one for each type of prospect and their needs
MARKET your product or services on your card – not just your phone number
ADD a link for them to download something free but valuable
REPLY to every card you get given with a call, within a week
TELL them you’re going to get back in touch, and why
