Remember that old cliche?
“In order to be successful, you need to surround yourself with successful people.”
There are two ways to go about achieving that, one way more powerful than the other:
- Make friends with people who are already successful. This relies on them wanting to be your friend, and in wanting success for you too.
- Make success for people who are already your friends. This will almost always ensure that they’ll want success for you too.
Friends look for ways to repay kindness, and reciprocity is often a natural by-product.
As I build my team, I’ve noticed how we’re creating more skills, impact and rewards for all of us.
And for all of you.
So, let’s rephrase that first sentence:
“In order to be successful, you need to surround yourself with successful people who are also interested in your success.”
How are your “Inner Five” looking by that measure?
