There’s only one word for you

Here’s a great tip I wish I had known back when I was just an anxious young man:

You’ve heard of affirmations, right?

Have you ever wondered why they don’t work as well as you’d like?

Well, it’s because the feeling of your affirmation is too far removed from the emotion you are currently feeling; and your conscious mind rejects them before they reach the subconscious.

So, instead, I use One Word Affirmations.

They work really well because the conscious mind has nothing to argue with.

This allows the feelings associated with the affirmations to seep deep down into our subconscious mind and become a part of us so much easier and quicker than full sentence affirmations ever can.

Try it yourself.

Just say one word over and over.
Say it slowly and allow yourself to saviour the word.
Feel it.
Let it resonate with you.

Pick two or three words and use them all day, every day, to focus on what you want to feel like. Especially say them first and last thing, to start and end your day.

The feelings will become your driving force.

And it’s only ever about the feelings, right?
