What’s your outcome?

When someone who doesn’t know you asks,

“What do you do?”

How do you answer?

Years ago, somebody asked me that question at a networking meeting.

I said, I’m a business coach. 

The guy leaned in and said, that sounds boring!

His avuncular response got me thinking. If HE feels like that, maybe everybody else does too!

So now, when somebody asks that question, I say,

I help coaches, trainers, therapists and consultants find more of their ideal clients more easily, without paid advertising. 

See, people are not at all curious about what YOU do.

They want to know if you can help THEM.

They’re inquiring about OUTCOMES, not your PROFESSION.
